Parrot is a French drone company which builds AR (Augmented Reality) drones. Today, I am going to share my research on one of their product. The product is Parrot Disco FPV Drone.

Now it’s coming with fixed wing drone which has long, a staple of the military and model aircraft community and now Parrot, which altered the quadcopter. AR Drone is getting with fixed wing.

 

 

The weight of parrot Disco is about 0.7kilogram, the company still working on it for last two years, it is a small fixed wing consumer drone.

It appears like a model airplane. The duration or endurance is about 45 minutes and sustains speed 50 miles per hour.

 

The camera is 1080p 14megapixcel at the front of Drone which is similar to a parrot used for its bebop2 quadcopter.

 

The Parrot Disco is operated over Wi-Fi through company Free flight smartphone and Tablet Application Technology.

 

Disco Installation comes with a set of standard sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, magnetometer and Global Position System (GPS).

The Parrot disco it has featured a pitot tube which is generally used on airplanes to measure the airspeed of aircraft.

But on a quadcopter, airspeed isn’t all important but it’s a big matter when operating the plane in the AIR.

The Parrot Disco is not the only fixed wing consumer Drone available in the market, but The Parrot Team Members Emphasizes That the Parrot Disco is much elementary to get flying than other competitors Drones.

Most of them fixed-wing model require users to manually set the controls like pitch and yaw but requiring a rapid shake to manually set up the controls to situate the location.

 

The Parrot drone landing is, without doubt, the hardest part of flying any plane and that not different for fixed wing model aircraft e either.
